I know I know this is a biggie for a lot of us women.
Whether that’s a new career path we wanna pursue or a business we wanna start.
There’s always this underlying fear of what other people might think of us.
Especially what they’ll think of us when we fail.
In this post, I’m gonna share with you 5 ways how you can stop caring what other people think.

WHAT’S IMPORTANT TO YOU
Evaluate what’s important to you.
Make a future plan for yourself and dig deep into the question of what you really want in your life.
What are your dreams?
What’s your goal?
And what’s your future vision?
If you could have anything you want in your life and be anyone who you’d like to be – how would you live your life?
What are your core values that stay in alignment with your dreams, goals and your future vision?
For example one of my core values is freedom.
So working as an online entrepreneur and being able to decide for my self how, when, where, with whom, why and what I’m working on stays perfectly in alignment with my core value freedom.
This core value is one of my driving forces to move forward in my online business also in times when I feel like giving up.
Life isn’t always about rainbows and daisies.
It can get rough sometimes knowing what’s important to you can make it easier to get through the rough phases.
STAND BEHIND YOUR DECISION
Know exactly why you want to do what you want to do and stand behind your decision.
Simon Sinek has a popular book dedicated entirely to this topic, called start with why.
While it’d be nice to have cheerleaders supporting you along your journey all the time oftentimes it’s quite the opposite.
People also from your circle of family and friends won’t always have the same opinion about your dreams, goals, and decisions as you do.
And that’s ok!
They have their lives, their dreams & goals, experiences, and thoughts and you have yours.
You don’t need anyone’s approval or permission to go for your dreams.
All you need is to have your own back.
Besides knowing your future vision, goals and core values it’s good to know why you want to do it.
Is it a sense of purpose to serve the world by offering products that could help the greater good?
What’s your why?
My why for example is to empower creative women to hone into their power to leave this world a better place by creating their dream lives and by building their soul- based online businesses.
Once you know what you want and why you want it so badly you can stand behind your decision even though other people don’t understand what you’re up to yet.
KNOW THAT YOU CAN’T CHANGE THEM
We all think our thoughts based on the experiences we made in our lives.
Little children are completely unbiased.
They aren’t scared of anything and aren’t judgemental either.
Instead, they’re just curious about everything and take life as it comes.
We, adults, are different.
We’ve had already our experiences in life, got hurt and are more quickly tempted to judge ourselves and others and to have opinions about things we don’t even understand.
Based on our life experiences and how we process things we think differently about many things.
While for someone the word online business might trigger existential fear for some else it might mean freedom, adventure, and excitement.
Your job isn’t to try changing how other people think.
You could never do that.
And it’s totally fine.
They can have their opinions and you can have yours.
LOOK FOR A MENTOR
Who is the person who you feel drawn to and who already has what you want in your life or business?
How can you connect with him/her?
How can you learn from him/her?
Look for a mentor you can learn from.
Whether it’s learning about health, business, productivity, mindset or whatever area you might want to dig in and improve.
Look for a person who you feel connected to, who has already what you want in your life or business and see how you can learn from him/her.
Is it through blog posts, podcasts, youtube videos, online courses, 1:1 coaching, live events?
See what works for you best and go for it.
SURROUND YOURSELF WITH LIKE MINDED PEOPLE
Besides knowing your what, and why, having your own back and a mentor you can learn from, it’s also important to have a community of like-minded people.
People who are in the same/ or similar boat you are in right now with who you can grow together.
You can have accountability with them and exchange what works and what doesn’t to genuinely support each other on the journey pursuing same or similar goals.
This can happen through masterminds or even through topic-specific facebook groups sometimes.
